Granduca Coreana Cups
The Granduca Coreana cups from Ginori 1735 captivate with the delicate floral motif that adorns the entire collection. Each cup comes with a matching saucer. This is the perfect way to enjoy tea, coffee and other hot drinks. The delicate floral tendrils are rounded off with a thin gold rim and lend the cups a feminine elegance.
The pattern was inspired by the 1750s, when Florentine aristocrats developed a new fondness for floral decorations, especially in clothing. The decorations were inspired by Japanese kimonos and led to the creation of this pattern. The collection includes plates, cups and other tableware made of pure porcelain that evoke spring, love and feminine beauty. As these concepts are associated with the peony ("mudan" in Chinese) in traditional Asian iconography, the fragrant flower can be found throughout the collection.
