Granduca Coreana Bowls
The Granduca Coreana bowls from Ginori 1735 complete the floral series with two high-quality porcelain pieces. Each bowl in the elegant collection is not only a functional vessel, but also a work of art that reflects the long tradition and first-class craftsmanship of the Italian brand. A wide variety of dishes, such as salads or side dishes, can be served and presented in style on the table. The fine gold rim with the elegant floral tendrils creates a beautiful overall look on the table.
The pattern was inspired by the 1750s, when Florentine aristocrats developed a new fondness for floral decorations, especially in clothing. The decorations are inspired by Japanese kimonos and led to the creation of this pattern. The collection includes plates, cups and other tableware made of pure porcelain that evokes spring, love and feminine beauty. As these concepts are associated with the peony ("mudan" in Chinese) in traditional Asian iconography, the fragrant flower can be found throughout the collection.
