Timeless art
From 1923 to 1933, the artistic direction of the manufactory was entrusted to Gio Ponti. He is responsible for introducing highly innovative elements with sensitivity and respect for the tastes of antiquity and oriental culture. In 1925 they achieved the award of the Grand Prix at the Universal Exhibition in Paris. In 2013, Manifattura Ginori was acquired by Gucci, which joined the Kering Group, and Alessandro Michele became artistic director. His vision, passionate about contemporary tastes, produces new collections that reinvent the centuries-old craftsmanship, successfully. During this period, the brand redefines its image and positions itself in a more exclusive segment, leading to the launch of the new flagship store concept in Florence and Milan.
