Vase Shapes
Vase Shapes from Serax is available in three calm, mouth-blown versions. The designs come from Dutchman Piet Boon and are handmade in his studio. The result is objects with unmistakable aesthetic added value that do not steal the show from the flowers. This matt-finished modern vase is mouth-blown and comes in warm shades of brown or gray. The six subtle kinks in the vase add an artistic touch. The organic profile of the sandblasted glass reflects the light in different ways, creating a beautiful interplay of shadows between light absorption and light reflection. Japanese design and the shapes of nature served as inspiration. Each vase is curved slightly differently to allow for different flower arrangements. Incidentally, making this shape is quite challenging and only very experienced glassblowers can do it.
