Tafelkultur neu gedacht: doppelwandiger Becher OMNIA von der Traditionsmanufaktur Fürstenberg. Das Service OMNIA stellt in Form und Funktion eine Essenz moderner Tafelkultur dar. OMNIA, vom international renommierten Design-Studio EOOS für FÜRSTENBERG entworfen, begegnet einer neuen Sehnsucht nach Dingen, die eine ebenso poetische wie essentielle Qualität haben, einen nachhaltigen Wert. Das international renommierte Team von EOOS ließ sich dafür von Naturphänomen wie Lavaströmen, Gletschern oder Gesteinsschichtungen inspirieren: „Diese natürlichen und rauen Oberflächen haben uns zur Form OMNIA geführt. Außen rau und gewachsen, innen glatt. Dieses Spannungsverhältnis fasziniert uns“, erklärt Martin Bergmann den Prozess der Entstehung. Betont wird das Spiel der Gegensätze durch die optionale Zweifarbigkeit des Service. Neben puristischem Weiß erfüllt OMNIA in den Farben Anthrazit, Hellbraun, Bronze und Dunkelbraun die Sehnsucht einer urbanen Lebensweise, nach Natürlichkeit und Nachhaltigkeit. Für die besondere Zweifarbigkeit ist absolute Präzision in der Fertigung gefragt. Denn die Rillen sind bei der farbigen Ausführung von OMNIA nur durch das Aufbringen durchgefärbter Porzellanmasse möglich. Ein späterer Farbauftrag würde zur Glättung der Struktur führen – und damit nicht die gewünschte Wirkung erreichen.
