DENK'ART Wine Glasses and Decanters
The company name DENK'ART comes from the mentor of the glass series, the Austrian wine ambassador Hans Denk. His extensive knowledge was a major factor in the development of the glassware designs. With his incredibly fine senoric and broad know-how, Denk shaped the Austrian wine scene like no other. A lot of knowledge and experience flow into the creation of the special glasses. For example, the glass design uses angles that correspond to the inclination angles of the earth. According to tradition, the ancient Romans themselves already recognised that the angles of 24, 48 and 72 degrees had exceptional properties for the storage and enjoyment of drinks.
Delicate but robust glasses
A characteristic feature of the filigree glasses is their thin walls. Despite their fine design, all glasses are perfectly suitable for everyday use and for the dishwasher. As they are manufactured without the addition of lead oxide, they are also resistant to cloudiness on the surface.
