There is hardly anything softer than a lambskin. Even the imitations do not come close to the quality of real fur. The Skinnwille brand knows this and is currently in its 3rd generation of processing animal skins into home accessories. To achieve this, they buy the finest skins from different parts around the world. Preference is given to skins from farmed animals and animals that are kept in good conditions. The company prohibits the mulesing of the animals. The fur is sold in its classic form or sewn into cosy cushions.

Skinnwille: Fine skins
The founder of the Swedish company Skinnwille is Geron Wilhelmsson. As the son of a farmer, he knew that one can live well from and with nature. He lived in Falbygden, a cultivated landscape in western Sweden between the lakes Vänern and Vättern. Nowhere else in Sweden were so many cows and sheep in such a small environment as in Falbygden. Geron realised that he could process and sell the skins that were waste products from the slaughtering process. So in 1922 he opened his first company to produce fine skins, and it grew quickly. At that time, the name Skinnwille was created from Skinn (skin, fur) and Wilhelmsson (Swedish short form Wille). Today, the skins do not only come from Sweden, but are imported from all over the world.
