The success story began 100 years ago in a small family-run crafts workshop in Cantù, Brianza, founded by Nino Romano. Since then, the company has specialised in the production of classic solid wood furniture. The love of wood is already evident in the selection of raw materials: in order to be able to build unique furniture, Riva 1920 draws on woods that are marked by their history. The briccole of the Venice lagoon, the thousand-year-old kauri of New Zealand and the cedar of Lebanon come into their own in the robust designs. The design of the furniture is always designed to focus on the character of the wood.
