Museeum is a young German brand specialising in luxurious home accessories. Founder Deike Bokelmann produces fine blankets and cushions from pure natural wool. The Noble Collection
The finest and rarest merino wool is used for the production of the collection, which is sourced from sheep from the south of New Zealand that are native to high pastures. Only a very small number of shepherds can offer this particularly high-quality raw material, which is one of the most luxurious fibres in the world. The raw material wool is dyed, spun and woven in a traditional cloth factory in the Bavarian Upper Palatinate.
Luxury natural material
Wool is a naturally pure material that has self-cleaning properties. It is therefore not necessary to wash it often. Airing the blankets out and brushing off the dirt can work wonders. If you do have to put your blanket or cushion in the washing machine for a thorough cleaning, you can do so in the delicate wash programme with wool detergent. The machine should also be set to cold wash and gentle spin. The product should then be dried lying down so that it does not lose its shape.
