Karina Wendt is a young glass artist from Brandenburg. We had the pleasure of meeting her at a trade fair in Munich and she told us the motto behind her brand: "Combining the useful with the beautiful". The young designer has her colourful glass products manufactured in Baruther Glashütte/Brandenburg. Local production is a contribution to preserving the traditional glassmaking craft in the region. Short distances allow resource-saving production, even the raw glass comes from the surrounding area.

Old design reinterpreted
"Milk churn" is a term that is probably more familiar to our grandparents than to us. What used to be a widely utilised everyday object is now only known by name. Karina Wendt, however, breathes new life into the milk jug and reinterprets the design in an object that is much more likely to be used today than a milk jug: a vase. And the modern milk jug vase is born! With a clear design, modern colours and a touch of nostalgia, the vase finds its way back into our everyday lives and beautifies our surroundings.

In addition to the vases, the collection also includes water glasses and carafes for everyday use in a delicate play of colours. Even better, the high-quality glasses are absolutely dishwasher safe.
