The Zurich-based label Frottee di Mare is fresh and creative! The artist Nina Hebting and architect Jan Leu founded their brand in 2016. The design duo from Zurich brings colour to the bathroom and the beach: based on Nina's abstract paintings, the two develop original terrycloth goods, literally weaving art with an everyday product.

Frottee di Mare: The Italian way of life
Shortly after a vacation in Italy, the two designerfounded Frottee di Mare - a play on words that combines the traditional technique of terry weaving, seafood and the Italian attitude to life "dolce far niente". Since the towels are woven and not printed, they are two-sided. This means that there are two front sides: These impress with a different but nevertheless related colour palette.
