Wine storage rethoughtConservation in stylish decanters
The eto brand was founded in 2012 by British designer Tom Cotton who patented the wine decanter. The designer found that the wine preservation products available on the market either had limited functionality or were extremely costly. After months of trials and testing, Cotton filed his patent for an innovative design concept that displaces air in a decanter, preventing oxidation and delaying wine spoilage. The name eto is a reference to Tom's Welsh roots and translates as "again". It metaphorically stands for the joy of being able to enjoy a good bottle of wine again and again, as the full flavour is preserved - until you have the time and desire to enjoy the wine again.

Long-lasting joy
Behind eto's elegant design is a unique, award-winning wine preservation system that seals out atmospheric oxygen to preserve the full flavour of the wine. This gives you the freedom to enjoy the wine whenever you want. Thanks to the airtight closure, the stylish decanters keep the wine fresh for at least seven days without losing the original taste.
How the decanter works
Step 1: Remove the cap of the decanter and pull out the neck of the bottle completely (approx. 11 cm).
Step 2: Hold the eto at an angle and decant the bottle through the neck.
Step 3: Pour a glass: The long neck of the bottle supplies the wine with oxygen and the pointed opening enables drip-free pouring.
Step 4: Replace the cap and push down the neck of the bottle. The valve closes automatically when it reaches the wine.
Step 5: Store eto in a cool, dark place. The decanter has been designed to fit easily into a fridge door.
Step 6: Lift the neck of the bottle very slightly to release the cap before pouring and enjoying the next glass of wine.
