Yinka Ilori is a British-Nigerian artist and designer known for his colorful and playful designs that often incorporate elements of Nigerian culture and stories. This can also be seen on the skateboards available here. Born in London in 1987, he grew up in an environment influenced by Nigerian culture, which had a strong influence on his artistic expression. Ilori began his career as a furniture designer before focusing on art projects that encompass various media such as installation, sculpture and painting. His works are characterized above all by striking colors and geometric patterns. In his works, Ilori seeks to tell stories and convey positive messages, often linked to cultural diversity, identity and community. His work has been recognized internationally and he has participated in various exhibitions and projects worldwide. Yinka Ilori contributes to blurring the boundaries between art and design and inspires through his unique artistic language.
